 Supportedoperatingsystems–Youcanusetherecord/replayfeatureforthe

followingguestoperatingsystems:

 Windows2000,XP,2003,Vista,7

 RedHatEnterpriseLinux3and4

 SUSELinux9.3and10.x

 64‐bitversionsofthetheseguestoperatingsystemsmightnotworkwithsome

oldhostCPUs.

 Unsupportedvirtualhardware–SMPandparavirtualizationonVMIarenot

supportedwithrecord/replay.

 Diskspace–Howmuchdiskspacearecordingusesdependsonthetypeof

activitythatoccursonthevirtualmachineandthedurationoftherecording

session.Bydefault,ascreenshotiscreatedevery15seconds.Therefore,assume

thatyouwillneedseveralmegabytesofdiskspaceforonemi

nuteofrecording.

 Diskmode–Youcannotusetherecord/replayfeatureifthevirtualmachine’s

virtualharddiskissettoindependentmode.Recordingvirtualmachineactivity

requireswritingdataaboutthedisktoacontinualsnapshot.Usethevirtual

machinesettingseditortochangethediskmode(selectVM>Settings>Hardware

>HardDi
