To delete the admin user account
1LogintothevSphereClient.
2 SelectavShieldvirtualmachinefromtheinventory.
3ClicktheConsoletabtoopenaCLIsession.
4Loginbyusingauseraccountotherthanadmin.
5Switch
toPrivilegedmode.
6SwitchtoConfigurationmode.
7 Deletetheadminuseraccount.
manager(config)# no user admin
8 Savetheconfiguration.
9RuntheexitcommandtwicetologoutoftheCLI.
Change the CLI Privileged Mode Password
YoucanchangethePrivilegedmodepasswordtosecureaccesstotheconfigurationoptionsoftheCLI.
To change the Privileged mode password
1LogintothevSphereClient.
2 SelectavShieldvirtualmachinefromtheinventory.
3ClicktheConsoletabtoopenaCLIsession.
4LogintotheCLI.
5SwitchtoPrivilegedmode.
6SwitchtoConfigurationmode.
7 Change
thePrivilegedmodepassword.
manager(config)# enable password
abcd1234
IMPORTANTDonotdeletetheadminuseraccountuntilyouaddauseraccounttoreplacetheadminaccount.
ThispreventsyoufrombeinglockedoutoftheCLI.
