Removable Devices
To configure removable devices
1UnderRemovableDevices,ensurethattheboxesforCDROMandSerialareselected.
2UnderRemovableDevices,USBDevices,acceptthedefaultsetting,Allow.
Theremovabledevicepolicyenablesyoutoconfigureuseraccessforthedevicesthatareconnectedtothehost
system.Eachusecaseandorganizationpolicies
willvary.ForamoresecurePocketACEinstance,disableall
accesstoalldevices.
Virtual Printer
Acceptthedefault,EnableVirtualPrinterforinstances.
ACE2includestheThinPrintuniversalprintdriverandmanagementtools.Enablingthevirtualprinterwill
addthenecessaryserialdevicetothevirtualmachineconfiguration.WhenthePocketACEinstanceis
running,itinheritstheprintersconfiguredonthelocalhostautomatically.
Runtime Preferences
To configure runtime preferences
1UnderRuntimePreferencesselectAlwaysruninfullscreen.
2 SelectDonotallowtheuserstomodifythememoryallocation.
3 SelectRequiretheenhancedvirtualkeyboardtopoweron.
4 SelectPowerofftheACEinstance.
5 SelectRemovethepowercommandsfromthePlayerTroubleshootmenu.
Runtimepreferencesallowyou
toconfigurehowthePocketACEinstancewillrunwhenstartedbytheend
user.Typically ,mostadministratorsconfiguretheACEinstancestoruninfullscreenmode.Thiscanhelp
minimizeenduserconfusionbetweenwhatisonthehostoperatingsystemandwhatisontheACEinstance.
SelectingPowerofftheACEinstancedisablessuspendandsync.Thisreducestheoverallstorageneededfor
storingthePocketACEinstance.
